The Ella Ostrovsky Law Office (the "Firm") is committed to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all clients and visitors, including persons with disabilities. This website was built for maximal accessibility in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 at conformance level AA (based on WCAG 2.1).
Conformance Level and Scope
The site conforms to level AA under IS 5568 / WCAG 2.1, across all pages, in Hebrew and English. The work was carried out to make the site accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including through assistive technologies.
Accessibility Features
- Semantic page structure with heading hierarchy and defined landmarks
- Dedicated accessibility menu: font size increase/decrease, high-contrast mode and reset
- Full keyboard navigation, including dropdown menus, forms and interactive components
- Clear, visible focus indicator and a "skip to main content" link
- Alternative text for images and descriptions for visual components
- Forms with clear labels and screen-reader-accessible error messages
- Screen-reader support (tested with NVDA and VoiceOver) in Hebrew and English
- Correct display at up to 200% zoom and 320px viewport width
- Standards-compliant color contrast across all text/background pairs
